Launched in the summer of 2015, InterContinental Dubai Marina is a sparkling new addition to the city's skyline. The hotel is setting new milestones in Dubai’s culinary environment. The need of the hour was to develop nomenclature and communication for three venues; namely an all-day dining restaurant, a gin bar and a wine bar.
The 24/7 The all-day dining venue, Accents, was designed to disrupt the norm of traditional all-day dining restaurants. Ginter, the gin bar that offered its guests over 35 tonics and 50 gins from around the world was developed as an intimate space that lay hidden in the funky property with little to ‘no kerb’ appeal. The third venue, YNOT, aimed to be the captain of comfort and the ambassador of ambience.
Accents employed an integrated approach using a unique (social) language, which has resonated well in the Marina and its brunch has already become an institution. Ginter has become the new ‘go-to’ place to celebrate the nuances of this famous drink loved by the old and young. YNOT’s unique vocabulary embraced the millennial crowd and its covers have grown exponentially since launch.
